  • The 12th International forum "Ferrous and Non-ferrous Scap Metals 2016"

    In the context of changing markets and economic crisis in 2016 was a landmark for all players  of Scrap Processing Industry  and metallurgy. The beginning of the year  was a very important point for choosing the correct business strategy. The forecast , policy, international business platform has become the industry 12th Forum "Ferrous and non-ferrous metals in 2016", which took place from February 29th to -1st March  2016 in the Building of the Moscow Government and organized by the National Association  of Scrap Processing  Industry  NCP "RUSLOM.KOM" and information-analytical company RUSMET.

    The forum was attended by over 600 delegates representing 30 countries. Including companies from the US, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Denmark, England, Sweden, Japan, Iran, China, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ukraine and others.

    Lead Analyst, Metals & Mining Intelligence (MMI), Dmitry heels, outlined aspects of the Russian steel scrap market. He  made the forecast of consumption and the balance of ferrous scrap in the Russian market.     Very important were the results of the plenary session, entitled "Stop the aluminum war!" Problems of secondary aluminum market is widely discussed not only among businessmen, but also in the media and the State Duma.

    Dmitry Puzanov, head of the NA Council of industrial enterprises secondary non-ferrous metallurgy.  provides an analysis of exports and domestic secondary aluminum market in 2015. And also gave an assessment of the possible consequences of a ban on scrap exports.
